Guy Fawkes 2015

This must be about our 5th or even 6th time doing Fireworks, which is pretty cool considering I never did it growing up....ever.
And this time we did it with Jordy, Kyah and Aunty Natty, with a yummy dinner and play beforehand. Fun times for a Friday night

Straight into the dressups

Straight into the makeup and then getting locked in the bathroom with Kyah, like seriously locked in. Lee had to break the handle to get them out!

Trouble in the kids bedroom

So cool but we couldn't get through the 5 boxes we had there. I thought it was best to leave when the boys started to set the shrubs on fire and Seth tried to put a lit sparkler up Jordy's butt!!!!

Athletics Day 2015

What a cool day we had yesterday.....Summerland really knows how to do Athletics day for 650 kids very, very well. Pretty cool to be a teacher and a Mum on days like this.....especially when you get to sit on the bus with this beautiful girl. Pretty cool that out of 12 buses, we ended up on the same one! As I look at these pics I can't believe my kids are so grown up...and gorgeous!

Miss 5 year old girl sprinter right here, and she's got a pretty good vortex throwing arm too!

We had a great day together. That sadie face is because Ella wanted to come back on the bus with me and unfortunately it didn't work out like that. This Mumma doesn't do special treatment and let her sneak over to my bus. Sorry baby :(
And now we've ended up at home today because Faith's face started to swell up yesterday, too much sun and grass I think, even though she had sunscreen on. Her face was so puffy by about 7pm so I had to organise for my first reliever so I could be on Mum duties today. Funny to call her my little pufferfish, but not very funny when she started crying cause her chin and ears were so itchy she couldn't go to sleep, and her right eye started looking like she'd been punched in the face :( !
On the mend now thank goodness.

Halloween 2016

Prep for our game on Friday night. Was so over it before I even started so this was a real rush job. Thankfully the girls helped me paint the monster faces on the next morning.

Soooooooooo many lollies, it was insane!
At a 5th birthday party earlier on in the afternoon.....

This girl loved the slide so I was gonna take a pic of it, but just as I told her to look at me, she slipped and boom!

The pied piper of the kids playtime. He had the 15 kids at the party all playing hide n seek while the adults sat inside eating and talking

And then we rushed home to get ready for the Trunk n Treat.....the first time Swanson Ward's ever done it and it was awesome!!!

So cool to have this little Mummy and his big skeleton brother there....and his Mum who kept stealing our lollies

Oh my goodness, this kid. By the end she was a sticky, drippy, sugary disaster. She actually was grabbing lollies from baskets and walking them straight to the rubbish bag to drop them in!

If there was a prize for best dressed family it would definitely have to go to Bishop and his girls!

While we were off having our Halloween fun, the grinch made sure our place was secure....so secure it took about 10 minutes for me to get back in when we arrived home.

The morning after. She woke up at about 6am which is a good 45 mins before Mum thought was acceptable, so I pulled out out of her cot and snuggled her up with me. By 8am I really needed to get really for church but she was having none of it. Can you believe we still got to the chapel at 8:45am!!!!
We never did Halloween growing up, but I'm liking it more and more as each year passes....just not the dracula, blood, dark side. And next year I'm going to give my kids a 5 treat quota for sure. I'd say they came home with 50 lollies each. The leftover lollies will be disposed of today....Halloween is over for another year. Ideas and plans are already swiriling for 2016!
