October 2020 - Whiringa-ā-nuku

Look who's been slack. It's now December 29th and I'm just adding October's pics!

We find the street name 'Cutty Sark' really funny so we had to take a pic

Giving Dad a big thumbs up when we walked past one of his jobs in Hobby

Carina Corona, a little stopping point on our Hobby hikoi

Scarfelina as the girls call this crafty installation

Cutesy cuzzie Indie had a big tumble off her bike so Ella so kindly and generously used her own money to buy this box of goodies to send down to her

I can't remember why Ella, Dally and I stayed at home one night but we did this drawing tutorial to keep from breaking down

A fun outing to do the driving range for the first time. A hundred balls turned into at least 200 cause we picked up all the ones that didn't go very far so we could hit them again!

Why do people in Ranui and Northwest/Westgate not make use of the amazing free activities put on at the library? Who knows, but we sure love them. Apart from one other family we had this room to ourselves to watch/sleep/eat

Our first gym sesh together at about 9:30pm at night. Damn this girl is strong, she was showing me up on quite a few machines. I had her on my rehab legs favourite though!

September - Mahuru

I can't remember what this outing was but I'm thinking it was probably one of our many runs around the block

'Dress like Dad' for father's day sacrament meeting at home

Father's day brunch

Dad's gifts that were focussed on 4 areas of self-improvement..

A special day out with my big baby at dressmart after dentist and donating blood

Saturday afternoon outing to Mt Eden

Sunday afternoon outing to Ambury Farm

Loving my 'Come, Follow Me' family journal

What an exciting moment...this boy had to earn this by doing 72 jobs worth 50c each (and of course his soft Mum fudged the record keeping of course!)

I loved this morning and I should do it more often. We dropped the little kids at school and I walked to the train station with her

Saturday arvo walk between Milford and Takapuna

One of the 3 puzzles we/I did during the holidays

An afternoon stop off at the second hand shop at the dump. Never again!

It's Monday 12th October today and the kids are all back at school for the first day of Term 4. I wonder if it'll be the first full term of the year??
