Faith at 6.5

I can't believe this girl will be 7 this year. I feel like every time I write a post about my babies, I say 'I can't believe she's 1, I can't believe she's almost 5...., but that's really how it feels.....I can't believe it. And I love it and hate it at the same time. Is there a saying about how the years fly by, but sometimes (like today actually), the days go so slow. This morning I could have sworn it was almost time for dinner and bed with the amount of fights I'd broken up and messes I'd cleaned up and I looked at the clock and it was 10:58AM!!!
I don't know, but anyways, here's my big girl lately.

All dressed up for the disco

Straight in the door and into the line for some junkfood!

Lil bro and sis. Seth ran off as soon as we got in the door and we didn't find him until the end (in the principal's arms as he walked back in from the carpark!), Ella stayed glued to my leg for the whole hour.

Dilly stared around thinking 'what is this?!?!?!' for the whole hour

I HATE candyfloss....Seth LOVES candyfloss

She had a day at home with a sore throat and her brother and sister were pretty bummed she fell asleep in the lounge so they got onto her pretty quickly

Teacher Mum made her do a home learning project on her sickie day (make a poster on the computer about being a good friend)

Going into the hall for the Mother/Daughter Breakfast at school

I love kids drawings

3 new little $2 books.....had to do something exciting last week to encourage reading & thankfully this did the trick. I had to sit down in front of her like she was the teacher and I was on the mat

If we call you butfowey, take it as a compliment. Loving my little notes and booklets and drawings

Somebody's paying through the roof for Subway around here! I found this down the hallway one night on my way to bed. She had $2.40 in the packet

When I surprised her at lunchtime with an early pick up to go over and surprise Mac at his school on his 7th Birthday. We love surprises!

We found the birthday monkey in his tree, thankfully he didn't fall out of it when he saw me and the kids rock up

Is this kid cute or what??!?!?!

And my goodness he's awesome with babies. I remember he was really good with Seth, and now he's all over Dallin

The Heke girls with the cool Aunty Nae Special Hat creations. You should do tutorials for the cool stuff you make Aunty Nae

A sunny, birthday afternoon tea

Good ol' McDs

For Easter Weekend, Daddy Joe was taking all the kids up to Awarua for another camping holiday. Faithy K decided to stay back with Mumma and I'm so glad she did. We had such a cool time together, and with the Leones and Grandie
Good Friday Easter Show

We watched some really cool Motocross stunt riders and then the first event in the Strongman competition....pulling an 8.2 tonne truck 25m. Crazy stuff!

Now that's my idea of a top shelf lunch....I'm pretty easy to please....but not just one, 2 hotdogs!

This kid cracked me up when I was clearing out the garage and saw her like this.......pretending to be a motocross rider like we'd seen earlier on in the day. I had to watch her going up and down the driveway pretending to do tricks, and then we had a big talk about how she'll never, ever, ever do anything dangerous cause Mummy can't doesn't want her babies to ever get hurt

This kid knows a special dinner date and she was determined to have one.
Burger Fuel....not that it took much to convince me

Waking up to a visit from the Easter Bunny at Aunty Nae's house.....that's never happened for her before so she was totally chuffed

Trouble right there!

10 minutes of quiet time before church....Mac writing a list of ideas for the birthday present I'll buy him, Faith writing a thank you letter to the Easter Bunny

This lil beauty is now my present wrapper extraordinaire. And I love that she mucked around with it by herself for over an hour. This will be right up Ella's ally too.....I can hear the fights already if they get at it together!

Icing cupcakes for Dallin on the afternoon they were coming home

Waiting, waiting, waiting. Every little noise she'd run over to the door to see if they were home. ....so cute. She's never been without her siblings for 4 days. But she really loved some uninterrupted time with her Mumma (and Netflix!)
