FHE - Tithing

What do we do with our money?

Spend - What do we spend it on? House, petrol, Pak N Save, clothes, devices, games, fish n chips, power

Save - What are we saving for? To go to snow planet, if the car breaks down, to go on family holidays, if something in our house breaks and we need to buy a new one

Tithing - Why pay tithing? To build churches, to help missionaries share the gospel, to be obedient, we are blessed

For refreshments I gave the kids 10 m & ms each and they had to give one back as their' Tithing'. They all said it was easy to give back one cause they still had lots left. Hopefully they'll always feel the same way about tithing

Happy before they got their 10 m & ms

Grumps that she didn't get a brown one

Sad that he had to be last to get his m & ms which was a consequence of throwing about 10 cars out of the bath when he was told not too.
I still think Monday nights are my fave cause I love FHE, but sometimes they're so flippn stressful as well! I remember back to the talk Sis Bradfield gave in church a few years ago about how she was so tired of her kids misbehaving and being disrespectful during FHE so one night right in the middle of it she got up and walked out. She literally got in the car and drove away and didn't come back for quite a while. Another teaching moment in itself really. I feel like that wouldn't work with mine at this age, but one day I might have to do the mid FHE disappearing act!
