May - Haratua

This is how our May went down....

It got off to a pretty rough start for this little poppet. A cute little girl with mysteriously swollen lips, a sore throat and then a big chunder. So sad!!!!

When you can't find your own socks (or can't be bothered going to get any from your drawers) just pick up the closest ones too you, even if they're your Dad's and they're about a million sizes too big. No worries!

We went to a potluck dinner with our friends from the māori ropu. So much fun playing a couple of word games. This team was too cute to not take a photo

Just a little reminder for all of us

Good ol' pictionary.....a toothbrush in case you were wondering

Our racey runner came 3rd overall in the cluster cross country race. She was beaming, Mum might have had the boggle.

Mother's Day dinner courtesy of Dad and Faith. Such a top effort from them both. And the best part was that they both loved it. Faith left a cute letter on my bed that night saying she loved Mother's Day this year and Joe said he wants to have days like that more often cause he loved it too. Bring it on!

Enough leftovers to share with Team flippn' awesome the next day

Jules just blending in to Year 0/1 singing time while I was working and Aunty B was at the airport

A flash dinner that got even better when I noticed Ella was leaving all the pastry

Come listen to a Prophet's Voice

How do you celebrate a 9th birthday on a monday for a beautiful star called Ella? You go to Wendy's with the cuzzies then surprise the birthday girl with going to watch Aladdin

100% on my assessment again. Yeeyah

I surprised the kids with a scholastic book order and when this one arrived for Seth I think he almost exploded with excitement. Probably won't be doing it again any time soon but the look on their faces was totally worth the spend
